What is new in licensing?

Public consultation on Pet Shop vending

The Licensing Authority is looking to adopt the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) model conditions for pet vending. 

If you wish to make any comment on the proposed adoption, please do so in writing to licensing@eastriding.gov.uk by 12 August 2016

Street Trading/Street Collection Policy Review Consultation. 

The Street Trading/ Street Collection policy is subject to consultation following a review of the East Riding of Yorkshire Councils policy on licensing street traders/ street collectors and hours to house collections. 

The policy is out for public consultation from 1 July 2016 to 31 July 2016, during this time please send all comments on the proposed policy:

Beverley Chauffeur Company ordered to pay costs to ERYC.

Chauffeur Luxury of Beverley, has been ordered by Beverley Magistrates Court to pay ERYC costs of £6000 after Marc Mason withdrew his appeal against the council's decision to revoke Marc Masons private hire drivers licence and private hire operators licence.
