There are two committees and one sub-committee which deal with licensing matters within the East Riding.  

The Licensing Committee covers licensing issues for street trading, houses in multiple occupation, hackney carriages and private hire services, whereas the Licensing Act 2003 Committee and Sub-Committee are concerned with the licensing of public houses, takeaways, gambling premises and sex establishments.
