How do I know when a planning application is going to committee?

All interested parties (applicants, objectors and supporter) will be notified of their right to speak and of how to find out if an application is being considered by a committee at the end of the statutory objection period.

What can I do if my application is refused?

If your planning application is refused and you think that the proposal could be altered to make it more acceptable it can be re-submitted again with different plans.

Can anyone turn up to a site visit?

No. The purpose of a site visit is to enable councillors to gather information relevant to the application. The site visit will be arranged with the applicant, as access onto the site may be required. Neighbours, third parties, parish councils etc will not be advised of the site visit.
