The list of candidates for all elections (the 'statements of persons nominated') will be posted here on Thursday April 9 and Friday April 10:

Which constituencies and wards will be counted at each of the centres?

East Riding Leisure Beverley

Parliamentary: Beverley and Holderness

Wards: Beverley Rural; Mid Holderness; Minster and Woodmansey; North Holderness; South East Holderness; South West Holderness; St Mary’s.

East Riding Leisure Haltemprice

Parliamentary: Haltemprice and Howden

Wards: Cottingham North; Cottingham South; Dale; Hessle; Howden; Howdenshire; South Hunsley; Tranby; Willerby and Kirk Ella; Goole North; Goole South; Snaith, Airmyn and Rawcliffe and Marshland.

East Riding Leisure Driffield

Parliamentary: East Yorkshire

Wards: Bridlington Central and Old Town; Bridlington North; Bridlington South; Driffield and Rural; East Wolds and Coastal; Pocklington Provincial; Wolds Weighton.

What time are the counts due to start?

Parliamentary election

Parliamentary election votes will be counted from 2am on Friday, 8 May.

Results announced around 4am or 5am.

Ward elections

Ward election votes will be counted from 1pm on Friday, 8 May.

Results will be declared as and when each ward count is completed throughout the afternoon.

Parish elections

Parish votes will be counted from 9.30am on Saturday, 9 May.

Results will be declared as and when each parish count is completed throughout the morning.

Where are the counts for the Brigg and Goole and Hull West and Hessle constituencies taking place?

  • your name
  • which media organisation you are representing
  • a contact telephone number and which centre and count you will be attending – be it Parliamentary, local or town and parish
  • information about cameras and outside broadcast trucks etc.
