Volunteering with the council

Four hands linked to form square

East Riding of Yorkshire Council very much values the additional support provided by volunteers to a range of services. Volunteers bring new skill, new ideas and a fresh perspective. Within the council, numerous services offer volunteering opportunities. For more information on each service, please see below.  Generally volunteering opportunities are advertised via a specific vacancy but on occasion it may be possible to put in a general application to a service. We also encourage volunteers' progression between service areas to ensure a variety of experience, or volunteers could choose to remain with one service area.
