Tells you about the renaissance partnerships in Bridlington.
Bridlington Renaissance Partnership provides the opportunity for local people to be involved in the future development of the town. The partnership is made up of a number of common interest groups that meet regularly to consider topical issues relating to the local economy and well-being of the town.
The aim of the partnership is to make Bridlington, “An attractive, welcoming, safe and prosperous place which provides a range of employment and business opportunities, has a growing and diverse economy, and involves the community in the process for the future development of the town.”
Most of the renaissance activity is prioritised in accordance with East Riding of Yorkshire Council's economic development strategy below:

and the capital investment programme.
The partnership includes a range of strategic partners who bring their own initiatives forward to seek collaboration, co-operation and support from other relevant partners, where there are common aims and objectives eg Humberside Police, East Riding College, Bridlington Chamber of Commerce, etc.
This is the strategic approach being taken to achieve the regeneration of the town, which at present concentrates mainly on delivery of the seven key themes set out in the Strategy for Regenerating Bridlington (Roger Tym & Partners) which was adopted by the Council in 2004.
Local groups and organisations can be represented on four forums:
