When and where should I put my bin out?

Bins should be put out for collection by 7am on the morning of collection and taken back in afterwards on the same day.

Your bin should be placed outside your house or at the top of your drive at the nearest point to the public road to help our refuse.

If you live on a farm or have a private ten foot, you should present your bin at the nearest point to the public road. Help is available for those who have difficulty wheeling out their bins.

Read about what happens if we haven't emptied your bin.

Can I sign up to the bin reminder text service?

There is a text message service which will send text message reminders the night before blue, green and brown bin collections. The only cost for this service is the initial text message to us.

Information on how to subscribe to the service will be included on the calendar sent to every address each December. It supplies you with a code, and a number to text it to. This code is unique to you and your street.
