As part of the accredited homes and accredited homes of excellence schemes, training courses are provided to all landlords and managing agents who own or manage property within the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Licence Holders and Managers of licensed HMOs are also required as part of the Council's licence conditions to receive suitable basic training on the law and legal requirements relating to managing an HMO within one year of the issuing of a HMO licence.

The private sector housing team provides a range of training and forum sessions to landlords, who own and manage property in the East Riding, designed to give information and guidance on all aspects of being a landlord.
