When do contracts usually start?

We usually structure contractual agreements for the academic year, starting 1 September until the 31 August the following year.  However, we are happy to consider commencing any service at any time of the year, even if you previously agreed to purchase a series of services at the start of the year and you now wish to contract for additional services.
