Yes. Withernsea Library is to be refurbished over summer 2013.
An alternative service is available next to the Hut Adventure Playground on Station Road Withernsea. The library will follow its normal opening hours until returning to the Queen Street building in the autumn 2013.
There will be no overdue charges for days closed. Books can be renewed online with your library card number and PIN.
The nearest alternative libraries are Hedon Library, St Augustine's Gate, Hedon , HU12 8EX, or Patrington Travelling Library which visits St Patrick's Church, High Street, Patrington on Fridays 9.30am - 7.00pm.

Is Hessle Library still open while it is being refurbished?
Yes. Hessle Library will be refurbished over the next year.
It is currently running from alternative accommodation next to Peeler House, Ferriby Road, Hessle.
The new opening hours during the refurbishment will be:
Monday 9.30 am - 5.00 pm
Tuesday 9.30 am - 7.30 pm
Wednesday 9.30 am - 5.00 pm
Thursday 9.30 am - 5.00 pm
Friday 9.30 am - 5.00 pm
Saturday 9.30 am - 12.30 pm
