Storytime is a fun and enjoyable introduction to books for pre-schoolers. Sharing books with young children can help to build concentration skills, listening skills and extend vocabulary to give them a head start when they begin school. No need to book, just come along.
Reminiscence. Last Friday of the month. 10am - 11am.
Take a trip down memory lane at your local East Riding Library. Use our great range of memory boxes containing items such as photographs, books and even food packaging to relive the sights and sounds of days gone by. Reminiscence is a social group for older people to meet new friends and have fun sharing stories. Reminiscence is also proven to be beneficial for those living with Dementia and their carers, and is endorsed by the Alzheimer’s society. Spaces are limited and booking is essential so please phone Hessle Centre (01482) 393939 for availability
East Yorkshire Family History Society drop in sessions. Second Friday of the month. 10am - 1pm

Parking - there is a free car park behind the Hessle Centre.
