Knit and Natter. 1 - 2pm
Library knitting groups offer improved health and wellbeing and a lively group of new friends for all ages and abilities. Did you know knitting has therapeutic qualities similar to meditation? Reminiscence. First Tuesday of the month. 10.15 - 11.15am
Take a trip down memory lane at your local East Riding Library. Use our great range of memory boxes containing items such as photographs, books and even food packaging to relive the sights and sounds of days gone by. Reminiscence is a social group for older people to meet new friends and have fun sharing stories. Reminiscence is also proven to be beneficial for those living with Dementia and their carers, and is endorsed by the Alzheimer’s society. Adult Book Club. First, second and third Thursday of the month. 6 - 7pm

Reading can reduce stress by 68% and risk of dementia by 35%. Broaden your horizons, meet like-minded people and explore the fascinating world of literature. Storytime. For pre-school children. Term time only. 2.45 - 3.15pm
Storytime is a fun and enjoyable introduction to books for pre-schoolers.
