U3A Reading Group. Third Monday of the month. 3 - 4pm


Tuesdays

Knit and Natter. 4 - 5pm
Library knitting groups offer improved health and wellbeing and a lively group of new friends for all ages and abilities. Did you know knitting has therapeutic qualities similar to meditation? Research shows it can help prevent and manage stress and pain. No need to book, just come along and join our friendly group.



Thursdays

Storytime. For pre-school children. 3 - 3.25pm  
Storytime is a fun and enjoyable introduction to books for pre-schoolers. Sharing books with young children can help to build concentration skills, listening skills and extend vocabulary to give them a head start when they begin school. No need to book, just come along.

Code Club. For children aged 9 - 11. Term time only. 3.45 - 4.45pm. 
Code Club has teamed up with East Riding Libraries to deliver a network of free volunteer-led after school coding clubs for children aged 9-11. Run termly, children will be able to progress their Coding skills and whilst using their imaginations to make creative projects. We make use of Scratch, HTML, CSS and Python software through PC’s in Libraries across the authority.Places are limited in this group so please call South Cave library (01430) 422901 for further information and availability.

Chatterbooks. For school years 3 and 4. Second Thursday of the month. Term time only. 4.30 - 5.15pm
Join in our popular reading groups for primary school children, to talk about what you are reading, take part in fun activities inspired by the best children's books, and choose new books to take home and read.
