Britain’s elite cyclists will once again sprint through the picturesque streets of Beverley cheered on by thousands of spectators as part of a weekend-long series of events. The 2017 event aims to build on the spectacular success of the last seven years with what is now regarded as one of the most popular and eagerly anticipated town centre circuit races on the British Cycling calendar. Racing commences at 6 pm.

Each year, on the second Sunday in December, the centre of Beverley is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s wonderland. Over 120 stalls brimming with gorgeous Christmas gifts and local treats take over the town, which is also home to one of the country’s most beautiful Minsters.
Soak up the sights, smells and sounds as you wander around the Victorian Christmas markets; the aroma of fresh mince pies and scrumptious hot chocolate, soundtracked by carols sung by local choirs, and with festive family entertainment on every corner, the Beverley Festival of Christmas will get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

The annual Beverley Folk Festival takes place in the shadow of the historic Beverley Minster and offers three nights and two days of breathtaking music, dance, comedy, spoken word, workshops for all ages. There is also children's events, craft stalls, real ale, camping and much more with the 'Festival Village' being the centre of events at Beverley Racecourse.
For anyone wanting a great weekend, look no further. Relax and sample some first rate music and fine ales straight off the Yorkshire Wolds!

Highlighting the musical and architectural heritage of Beverley and its remarkable historic Minster, the Festival comprises an entertaining mix of concerts, associated lectures and music workshops for children and adults.
Established in 1988 to reflect the music of the myriad stone and woodcarvings of the medieval musicians living and working in the East Riding, the Festival includes orchestral concerts which take place in Beverley Minster alongside smaller instrumental and vocal ensembles presented in churches around the Riding.

Bridlington Arts Festival first started in 1986 and has evolved year on year and now takes place at the end of May, with a large outdoor festival on the May bank holiday. The festival involves music, photography, sculpture, paintings and much more!
