Howden Music and Arts Festival
The festival is set in the historic East Riding town of Howden and is now the largest event of its kind in the area. The festival includes a variety of performing arts including opera, choral concerts and instrumental recitals, as well as workshops and lectures on a variety of topics. Many of the singers and players who perform at the festival are young professionals on the threshold of what are already notable careers and there is a particular emphasis on young and local performers.
