Many of the items have been produced specifically for the Treasure House. Wherever possible all other items are sourced from small independent businesses.
All the silk items are produced under One Tambon One Product (OTOP), the Thailand equivalent of Fairtrade, which is a government-backed scheme to provide extra employment for local people. The items are handmade by craftsmen in the northern part of Thailand, with other workers employed out of the farm season.

It is hoped that in the near future the shop will work more with local artists to sell their products, particularly sculpture, ceramics and glass.
