What daytime activities are available?

Day services support older people with complex needs, people who have a learning disability, physical disability or a mental health need.

The services offer the opportunity for people to meet with others and participate in a range of social and leisure activities and to receive personal care whilst also supporting carers by giving them a break from their caring tasks.

The Council has six day centres. In addition there are a number of outreach services managed from the Council day centres. The Council also provides a Supported Employment Service based in Cottingham.

You may also be able to access day services in the community or in a residential care home.
