Here you will find a list of support groups currently running in Hull and the East Riding. There are a number of national support groups and services that can help you too, but these are not available to view online, so please call FISH to find out more. 

Transitions

Below is some information about support available when your child or young person is going through a transition.  Below are some documents that may help you understand the process more and help your child and young people share their plans for their future.

ME/CFS Adult and Family Support Group

This support network helps young people with ME and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It offers a listening ear and support with information.

Special Smiles

ERVIP (East Riding Voices In Partnership)

The Echoes Foundation is a new charity in Hull and with the support of parents, local businesses and grants, they aim to open a multi-purpose dedicated therapy centre for all children in Hull, East Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire with special and additional needs.

Saturday club









York Down Syndrome Parents' Group 3-21 Saturday Club is for families enlivened by members with a little extra (21st chromosome).

For the kids: Sing and sign, crafty stuff, stories, outdoor play (weather permitting) and anything else you'd like to suggest!

For the Adults/Bigger kids: Coffee (probably) , Cake (hopefully), joining in with the kids stuff (if you want to) chat and information sharing (definitely).

Dates: Third Saturday of the Month (with the exception of August and Dec)
