Explains what the 'Win a ceremony' competition is, how to enter, when the winner will be announced and the terms and conditions.
This is a one-off competition that we are running via our facebook page. The competition gives engaged couples a chance to win a free marriage ceremony. The winning couple receives the cost of attendance of registrars at their marriage ceremony, to conduct and register their marriage in one of the approved venues licensed for marriages within the East Riding of Yorkshire. This can be one of our Standard, Platinum or Hybrid ceremonies.
To enter the competition, simply tell us in no more than 500 words, the story of how you met, how your proposal happened along with a photograph of you both.
Couples should send their entry via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please ensure to include both names of the couple, contact telephone numbers and email addresses. Both parties must legally be free to marry to be eligible for this competition.
The competition is open for entries from Tuesday 14th February 2017 until Friday 31st March 2017 at midnight. No entries submitted after this will be accepted.
We are hoping to announce the winner in June.
