Adult Learning Goole open day and Santa’s grotto

If you’re thinking about taking a course and need some inspiration, East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Adult Learning Centre in Goole has lots of part time courses to choose from.

Goole Adult Learning Centre - Christmas

The centre will open its doors on Saturday, 9 December, 10am-2.30pm, to talk to local residents about what help is available to gain a new skill, get a new qualification or learn something completely new.

Talk to friendly members of the team, take a tour of the centre and enrol for courses starting in January 2018, including free taster courses designed to let you try a course for before enrolling on a full course.

Bring along your children to the Santa’s Grotto too. Open from 10am, hurry to arrive early and meet Father Christmas and his festive helpers and receive a free gift for your child.

Nicki Berry, centre manager, said: “We’re really looking forward to throwing open our doors to local residents and their children. We hope that our very own Santa’s Grotto and elf helpers will excite the children while we inspire local residents with information about our new courses starting in January 18 as well as our range of free taster courses.”

For more information, call Goole Adult Learning Centre on (01482) 392844 or visit, in person, at Pasture Road, Goole, DN14 6DP. Free parking available.
