Are you thinking of working for yourself and setting up a small business but don’t know how to start?
Help is at hand – the Council’s business services team are holding a series of free workshops at Brough Business Centre which will give you the facts about becoming self employed, dispel myths and help you decide if self employment is really for you.
Run by trained and experienced staff, the workshops will help to plan your business venture, get started and provide support during the first few tricky months.
Part of the New Horizons Network programme, the workshops are as follows:
- 13 April – Putting your Business Plan Together (1.30 – 3.30 pm)
- 20 April – Marketing and Selling (1.30 – 4.30 pm)
- 27 April – Record Keeping/Financial Forecasting (1.30 – 3.30 pm)
